Kamilla Sultanova is a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) consultant, and event host with her Nordic Edge. Recognized as the top 60 speakers in Finland by the leading speaker agency in the Nordics, MySpeaker on DEI and inclusive leadership and performance, Kamilla is a winner of My Speaker of the Year 2023 award in category “Sustainability and Ethics.”
Her culturally-responsive consulting is geared towards companies, public organizations and immigrant communities when it comes to DEI strategies, career-centric networking and immigration debates. She is capable in crafting powerful conversations during panels and uses her unifying voice connecting inclusion and belonging narratives between international talents and immigrants.
She has worked with 50 Finnish companies on various events, workshops, keynotes over the years and activating audiences towards DEI leadership. Her work is informed by her career in the container and tanker shipping (container sales, supply chain, procurement and safety functions). Having lived in Denmark and Finland, she has advocated on mentoring, volunteering and giving back, and has worked in producing speaker programs and inspire dignity-centric leadership for Finnish secondary schools students by training promising speakers from various marginalized communities.
Kamilla has been an influential voice in the Talent Boost national ecosystem, aimed at diversifying Finnish companies and establishing talent management programs for the employment of international students, refugees, and immigrants. Her advocacy extends to promoting employment-driven mentoring programs, anti-racism trainings, women’s positions in industries, cities, boards, politics, and media through intersectional lens. Known for her networking superpower, Sultanova is committed to fostering role models and allies to cultivate an intergenerational workforce that is multicultural, gender diverse, and differently-abled in Finland and Europe.
