Flemming is an experienced top management and board advisor with more than 20 years of career experience in global business and a proven track record in assisting listed and non-listed clients in APAC, EMEA, and US. He is passionate about strategy, leadership, and people, and has designed and led multiple client tailored development and change programmes. His focus is on developing purpose-driven boards and leadership teams who can effectively lead and facilitate change, elevate businesses, empower diverse thinking and belonging, and deliver predictable results in a volatile, uncertain, and complex ecosystem with multiple stakeholders.
After working as an independent advisor for ten years, MU (Mercuri Urval) offered him a newly created position as Global Practice Lead Sustainability in January 2022. In only two years, he built the company’s first global expert practice and client solutions from scratch. Driven by a strong desire to work more holistically once again with the integration of purposeful leadership, strategy, and transformation, he decided to resume his career as an independent top management and board advisor in April 2024. He has a fundamental belief that change, and results are created by effective teams led by purpose-driven leaders who possess strong self-leadership skills and high emotional intelligence.
