Ferdinand is a senior expert on integration and inclusion as well as diversity officer at the Robert Bosch Foundation, Germany. Good coexistence in heterogeneous societies, equal participation of people with and without a migration history, and combating discrimination are his motivation for working for the foundation.
Ferdinand studied Political Science, Religious Studies and American Studies at the Universities of Munich (Germany) and Bologna (Italy) and received his PhD from the University of Göttingen (Germany) on the “Political Participation of Muslims in Germany”. He gained his first professional experience at the Bertelsmann Stiftung before joining the Robert Bosch Stiftung.
