With over 20 years of experience in startups and scale-ups, Astrid is a future-focused leader who has driven significant change in the corporate sector, building and growing business streams while leading organizational transformation. Known for her highly collaborative approach, Astrid’s fervent belief in inclusive leadership has propelled numerous impact-driven initiatives and campaigns. Throughout her career, she has successfully led cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and project groups, showcasing her adaptability and co-creative spirit.
A champion for change, Astrid’s expertise spans STEM, consultancy, retail, hospitality, and sustainability. She previously served as Global Director of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at Norway’s first unicorn company, Oda, where she implemented a high-impact program recognized with three national awards. Prior to that, she worked at Amesto, one of Norway’s most innovative companies. More recently, she was the Director of Impact Partnerships at The Conduit, a collaborative community of changemakers driving transformative social impact.
Astrid’s dedication to humanitarian work aligns seamlessly with her current role at Operation Smile Norway, fulfilling her ambition to contribute to the non-profit sector. In her spare time, she mentors and advocates for the inclusion of women in tech and innovation, particularly those from underserved communities. She also advocates for gender equity and human rights, addressing often-taboo subjects like sexual harassment and gender-based violence to break the silence and dismantle barriers, empowering others to speak out.
A regular speaker and moderator at conferences across Europe and the UK, she also serves as a board advisor for several NGOs, including Women in Tech Oslo, Diversify Consult, and Humans for Humans, an organization providing mental healthcare to people who have been affected by human trafficking.
